So that's the big miracle that happened for me this week. Just kidding. I did my first Sunday school teaching today with the Jr. High and that was the topic of the week. Chelsea and I are doing a 3, maybe 4, week message on Peter, which I entitled From Rash to Rock. So it went really well, we started off by playing balloon stomp with them. Then I wrote a small skit for a few of the kids to act out, which they really enjoyed, I just revised the Matthew 14:22-36, so it was a bit more entertaining to the kids, then I went ahead and went off Peter's characteristics and how to relate them to our lives and living out in boldness, and how God's there to pick us up when we fail. I think they enjoyed it, and then we did some trust falls with them. So overall it was a good day. Now I'm currently at the Royal Swazi, which is one of the nicest resorts in Swaziland, where I get wi-fi and there's a nice pool here, and a golf course. So a bunch of the team is cooling off in the pool right now.
Playing Ball With The Kids In Royal Swazi
Guys Kicking Butt!
Last Sunday we were at the Royal Swazi and we were playing with some kids in the pool, which was a lot of fun. It was a game of boys vs. girls keeps away. Guys won of course. It was nice just relax and feel like we were fancy for a few hours, even if we're not.

What went down this week: Well Tuesday I went to the International Church and met up with Pastor Raymond for our youth meeting, and was told I could start work with the church right after the meeting, by helping paint the boys dormitories, which desperately needed it. So I did that for about 5 hours of intense working, and sweating, which was really good to get a workout.

Room Number 7 that I painted. Oh Good ole' Addorm
Wednesday I went back to the church and helped clean up a bit, because registration for the school was on Thursday, so I moved stuff around and what not. I did that for about 2-3 hours, then came back to our house and changed, to go to Manzini where the other team lives. It took about an hour and 15 minutes on public, which felt so ridiculous, since the night before it took only 30 minutes. Side note, we had meetings with Gary Black and the rest of the Black family, the man who taught us last time we were in Swaziland, he is a local missionary who with his family started a family orphanage in the rural area and have about 25 kids there. He is a very prophetic man, and has the Spirit upon him when he speaks, but he taught some sessions Mon, Tues, and Wed. On Tuesday night however, Gary asked me, rather jokingly, if I had raised anyone from the dead, I laughed and said no, and he told me to come pray for a paralytic lady who sits by the bus corner everyday. So I went to Manzini on Wed to go find the lady and pray for her, I had lunch with Ben from Swazi team and Michelle, Michael, and Tessa. Then we went out searching for her. We eventually found an older lady who was deaf and hid her feet, so I prayed for her and bought some candy from her. I don't know if she was healed or anything, but I think I was obedient but that's what counts, then we headed over to Hope House, which is a center for people who are on their last leg of AIDs, it's run by a couple of Indian Nuns, who are amazingly nice people and welcomed us to go hang out with some of the patients. We saw 3 people and talked and prayed and sang some songs with them. Then I made the 3-mile hike up to the Swazi house to hang out with them for the night. I love seeing their team. It's fun just to be around my homeboys Marcus and Ben. Then we went to the message by Gary. It was good.
Thursday I got laundry done, and then Amber and I did some ministry together of walking school kids home which was really fun, it was neat just talking with the kids and Amber.
Friday, a bunch of us went into Mbabane to check out a shelter that helps out street kids, so it looks like we'll be able to start working with them sometime this week or next week. Then I came home after the meeting and worked on my Sunday school lesson, and got that finished up.
Saturday we had team ministry where we all go to the same place, so we went to the Mbabane hospital, after getting lost walking up a hill. But we eventually made it, I hung out with the abandoned kids for most of the morning, I fed some that are handicapped, and then hung out with a few kids who's parents needed a break for them, then I came back around lunch time to grab lunch then Michael, Chelsea and I went over to the church to teach the youth group ministry team 2 Drimes (our musical dramas) which went amazingly well, they got both of them down in 2 hours. So right after that we headed over to the Swazi team house for our team dinner where we also had the new Real Life Team with us, so there was practically 60 people over at the house for dinner. Delicious potatoes and chili and salad. Then I found out that one of the RLT guys was in my band class senior year for a semester, I never really knew him but we got a connection and there's another girl that's from Fairbanks too but I don't know her, but it's awesome meeting 2 more Alaskans here in Swaziland.
Mountain behind the Church. Beautiful!!!
Well some prayer requests: I'm not sure what to do this week for ministry, it doesn't sound like things are going to kick off until next week with making bricks for the church, and the street kids program, so I need to find stuff to do while I'm here this week. Also if you could keep my friend and Swazi teammate Elisa in your prayers, she went through a pretty traumatic experience at the hospital yesterday. Our leader Cassie got in a huge car crash earlier this week, which totaled the van we had, and the kids she was with were banged up pretty good, but they seem to be holding up pretty well. I could use some prayer for just loving the Swazi people because to be honest I don't want to do it everyday.
As always send me any prayer requests for you guys, or any suggestions you want to see on my blog or whatever. Take care, God Bless.
I'm not sure if this'll work or not, but it's supposed to be a video earlier this week when Michael, Chelsea and I went into Mbabane to have a cheap lunch at Wild Wingz...It was gross. Gizzards in Fast food form.
I get to watch the SuperBowl tonite at one of the local American missionary's house tonite. Go Giants!!!
